Personal Rating: I give this gym a V7 rating.

This gym has a laid back vibe, which makes it very welcoming to everyone. I love gyms that don’t have the “corporate” vibe because their communities are usually much better. This gym is a great example of this. The staff that helped me, Bryan and Noah, were so friendly and chill. I chatted with a few of the members that were climbing and one member even showed me her crack climbing gloves and was telling me about her experiences crack climbing. It’s great to see such happy and welcoming staff and members. There is also a community garden outside, and there’s an area near the front desk where members and staff can share produce grown in their gardens (or the gym’s garden).

The gym walls do have an older feel, but the setting was fun and creative. The gym is a decent size and the workout area has a good amount of equipment for cardio and strength training. I love that this gym offers silks classes, because the strength and body awareness that’s needed for silks translates well to climbing. It’s a great addition for members that not many climbing gyms offer. There is a large slack line near the bouldering area, which is fun to practice with.

Overall, I’d recommend this gym for any climbers that are looking for a solid climbing gym with a relaxed atmosphere and a friendly community. The climbs offer something for all skill levels, whether you’re just starting out or looking to challenge yourself.
