Unique Features: This gym has a great community, wonderful staff, and an excellent social media presence.
Personal Rating: I give this gym a V6 rating.
This gym is one of the few climbing gyms in this part of New Jersey. Although it’s a smaller gym, it has a tight-knit community and frequently hosts events. One major downside is that there is no workout area, but the rest of the gym is great. The routes are challenging and incorporated great moves, and I found the top rope setting to be a little on the stiff side compared to other gyms in the area. I follow the gym’s Instagram account solely for the funny climbing memes and jokes about the gym’s owner, Mike. Even if you don’t plan to visit the gym, I would recommend following their social media.
Overall, I’d recommend this gym to climbers who are looking for a home-town vibe and a great community. The setting is great for climbers of all levels.
